Qualifying Criteria for the International Carding Scheme

The International Carding Scheme provides a range of supports both finanacial and non-financial, to assist Ireland's most talented tennis players. The scheme offers financial support to cover players general living expenses not otherwise covered by the National Governing Body. Contracted	Top 1-3 in the World Rankings Last Four in Grand Slam event Medalist in the Olympic Games
World Class	4-8 in the World Rankings 5-8 in Grand Slam events 4-8 in the Olympic Games
International	9-250 in the World Rankings* Qualification/acceptance into the Olympic Games Acceptance into the main draw of Grand Slam events
Developmental	Top 251-600 in the World and under 24 years of age Junior Grand Slam U18 acceptance Top 25 in NCAA Rankings and under 24 years of age Players U17 top 350 world junior ranking U18 circuit Players U18 top 200 world junior ranking U18 circuit
Junior	U14 top & 100 in European ranking in U14 circuit U15 top & 200 in European ranking in U16 circuit U16 top & 100 in European ranking in U16 circuit

Ranking must show yearly improvement, i.e. - 2006 - 200, 2007 - 100, 2008 - 64
